Claudio Caputo

Claudio joined B12 Consulting as an Associate in November 2023.

He obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Bari in 2013 and a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics in 2017. His thesis was centered on investigating the properties of the Higgs boson, analyzing the vast amount of data produced by the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

From 2017 until 2023, Claudio worked as a postdoctoral researcher and FNRS Chargé de Recherches at UCLouvain. During his postdoctoral tenure, he developed a comprehensive understanding of data analysis techniques, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization. He has extensive experience working with large datasets and in developing custom analysis tools to extract meaningful insights from complex data. Claudio is proficient in various scripting and programming languages and has worked with different high-performance computing and big-data platforms.

Furthermore, working in a multinational, multicultural environment has enabled him to acquire strong management and coordination skills. He has supervised Ph.D. students and coordinated international teams.

In his free time, Claudio enjoys playing musical instruments, photography during his hiking trips, and volunteering. He can also be found at the gym or running in one of the parks in Brussels.
