David Winant

David joined B12 Consulting as an Associate in September 2024. He earned a Master’s degree in Physics in 2018, followed by an Advanced Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2019, both from KU Leuven. He then pursued a PhD in Machine Learning at the same institution, with his doctoral thesis focusing on investigating the generative capabilities of Restricted Kernel Machines.

David enjoys tackling challenging problems and staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field of AI. In addition to his passion for the technical aspects of it, he has a strong interest in exploring how AI solutions can be designed to prioritize fairness, transparency, and ethical practices.

Outside of work, you can often find David at the climbing gym, running through the woods, or playing bass guitar with his band.
