Leila Paquay

Leila Paquay joined B12 Consulting in February 2025 as an Associate.

After earning a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Liège, Leila wanted to combine her scientific background with programming and data science skills, leading her to pursue a Master’s in Bioinformatics at the KU Leuven. She then began a PhD at Hasselt University, studying the microbiome of industrial hemp, where she developed a strong interest in digital solutions. Keen to create practical and efficient tools, she transitioned into software development, working in a startup and as a freelancer on various IT projects. 

Convinced of AI’s potential to enhance these solutions, she joined B12 Consulting to merge scientific expertise, data science, and software development.

Curious and passionate, Leila explores a wide range of interests, from crochet to video games and hiking. Always eager to learn and take on new challenges, she enjoys discovering new things, both in her work and in her hobbies.
